Buying Process

  1. Meet with your agent to discuss your real estate goals and discuss the value of representation
  2. Set up an automated “listing cart” with agent
  3. Have agent contact any FSBO’s you may be interested in
  4. Showings
  5. Offers / Contingencies
  6. Negotiation
  7. Acceptance
  8. Inspection(s)/Test(s) – structural, heating/cooling, septic, water, chimney, water, radon…
  9. Negotiation
  10. Financing/Appraisal
  11. Packing & Moving
  12. Walk Through
  13. Closing

Buyer Responsibilities

  1. Be honest & open with your agent
  2. Be sensitive to seller’s requests
  3. Follow up on all lender requests in a timely fashion
  4. Retain a closing attorney
  5. Retain an insurance binder on the property
  6. Communicate with appropriate utilities prior to closing

After Sale Process
